The gameplay holds up incredibly well. The power sets, the costume creator, the mission architect. What is missing is the sense of shared discovery that launch-era games had.

Live Action Role Playing has been around since the 1970s and it is more popular than ever. From medieval combat sports like Dagorhir and Belegarth to theatrical Nordic LARP, the scene is incredibly diverse.\n\nAnyone here active in LARP communities? I have been doing Amtgard for 12 years.

Thunder Road from 1986. Post-apocalyptic car combat on a scrolling board. It actually got a modern reprint last year and it is fantastic. More games should get this treatment.

I am running a Pathfinder campaign through one of the hubs. The character sheet system needs work but the map and token tools are solid. Having everything in one browser tab is a huge advantage over juggling three apps.
